Academy for Security Analysis

I’m a recent addition to the amazing team at the Academy for Security Analysis (Academia para el Análisis de la Seguridad) funded by USAID and led by John Jay College of Criminal Justice at CUNY.

The project seeks to build institutional capacity to analyze the impact of security and justice policies in a methodologically rigorous manner in the Northern Triangle region of Central America. We train and advise multidisciplinary teams from governments, NGOs, and other organizations to design, implement, and evaluate public policies from start to finish. The ultimate goal of the program is to generate local capacity to conduct high quality and empirically rigorous analysis of what works to improve citizen security and reduce violence in Central America.
